The Coptic Orthodox Diocese stood in solidarity with the Jewish community, paying respects to the 15 lives lost in the Bondi terror attack.
It was a deeply moving interfaith gathering of two ancient faiths, centred on shared understanding, remembrance, and compassion, attended by His Grace Bishop Daniel and diocese delegation.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Rabbi Dr. Dovid Slavin, Founder and Director of Our Big Kitchen, Bondi, for his warm hospitality and friendship.
Building bridges of love, respect, harmony, and peace, the visit continued at The Central Synagogue Sydney, with Rabbi Levi Wolff, Chief Minister, whom we thank for his gracious welcome.
We also thank Cr Dov Frazer, representing the Mayor of Waverley, Cr Will Nemesh, for accompanying us and for his support.
May God grant comfort to the grieving, healing to the wounded, and peace to all communities.
