Description:
Through our Coptic community's connection with Macquarie University, Ms Diana Giese from the Mosman Community College, approached our church in order to organize a cultural in order for members of the Australian community to find out more about our Coptic Church, culture and traditions. On Saturday the 18th of March, HG Bishop Daniel and a number of community members, including many youth, welcomed about 60 visitors arriving by coach in order to experience of how the Copts of Sydney work, live and pray. The visitors were guests at the church of St Mary and St Merkorious, Rhodes, in Sydney. The day was an outstanding success and Daphne and Dominic Gonzalvez, two of the special guests we welcomed on that day, compiled this wonderful report of the day's events.
